Building Trusted Relationships
December 13-15, 2016
The purpose of the Emerging Leaders program is to provide innovative educational opportunities to emerging leaders in companies that operate on a cooperative basis. Relevant cooperative topics will be covered in such a way that participants will leave with tools and a deeper understanding of how to lead within their own company. In addition, participants will get the opportunity to learn from leading experts as well as develop a network of other cooperators from across the nation.
In the Building Trusted Relationships program, the focus will be on building trust with producers. Cooperative employees should strive to move relationships with producers from being customer-focused to being member focused. At the center of this transformation is trust. It is paramount that there is a level of organizational and personal trust between the employee and the producer-member. In this unique program, a trust expert, agricultural economics faculty and a set of farmers will engage participants by providing them with educational materials that will be applied during the program and beyond.
New format for 2016. We are going to start the program on the evening of the 13th with dinner and the first session. The trust education will continue on Wednesday and a great interactive session wraps up the conference on Thursday morning. You don't want to miss it!
