CFO Roundtable Agenda (coming Spring 2020)
The Arthur Capper Cooperative Center, with the sponsorship of CoBank, is hosting a cooperative education program, the CFO Roundtable, in May 2019 for cooperative Chief Financial Officers. The CFO Roundtable provides an educational forum for CFOs of large marketing and farm supply cooperatives who have a strong desire to improve the performance of their cooperative businesses. This forum is a place (1) where critical issues are identified and the most effective strategies are presented, (2) where CFOs can discuss common interests, challenges and opportunities, (3) where CFOs can learn from each other by sharing success stories and experiences and (4) where CFOs can learn from other respected experts with proven track records. This forum is a place that maximizes learning through an intense, stimulating program agenda.
Who should attend? Cooperative Chief Financial Officers are invited to attend. One additional cooperative leader that is either a director on the board who works with cooperative financial resources OR a direct report to the CFO who is actively involved in the financial decision-making for the cooperative is also invited.
Why is this a great conference ? This conference will be held at the Embassy Suites KCI in Kansas City and will have leading experts discuss key cooperative financial topics as well as a leadership workshop by Bruce Tulgan of RainmakerThinking, Inc. This is a great opportunity that is being offered to an invitation-only group of cooperatives, of which you are included. It’s not only a wonderful opportunity for you to dig into financial issues facing cooperatives, internal controls and leadership but also to network with other cooperative finance professionals dealing with similar issues.
